ADHESIVE PRIMER/ACTIVATOR
APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Area of sheet to be bonded should first be cleaned with white or unleaded gasoline.
CAUTION: USE CLEANING SOLVENT SPARINGLY. Do not saturate sheet. Noticeable swelling of sheet indicates that too much cleaning solvent is being used.
2. Always wear gloves and safety glasses when applying RPU Primer/Activator.
3. BEFORE USE, ALWAYS STIR OR SHAKE Primer/Activator. Be sure that there are no visual signs of separation.
4. Use Primer/Activator sparingly.
CAUTION: EXCESS PRIMER/ACTIVATOR MAY REDUCE ADHESION. AVOID SATURATION OF SHEET. Noticeable swelling of sheet indicates that too much Primer/Activator is being applied.
5. Never leave Primer/Activator containers open for long periods of time. Evaporation of solvent will cause the primer to thicken which may cause excess swelling of sheet and may reduce adhesion.
6. Apply Primer/Activator with a  stiff bristle paint brush. Application on deck sheet should be wet but not saturated with excess solvent. NEVER pour Primer Activator onto sheet and spread. Frequent refreshing of the applicator, while AVOIDING excess saturation of the sheet, is recommended.
7. Prevent contamination of Primer/Activator by frequent changing the paint brush.
8. Dry time is determined by air temperature and quantity of Primer/Activator used. Primer/Activator will dry in 15 minutes when application recommendations are followed. Cold weather (under 50 degrees F) will require additional dry time with 30 minutes being sufficient under the coldest conditions.
9. Proper application of Primer/Activator will result in no noticeable swelling of the sheet and a surface totally dry to the touch after sufficient dry time.

We do NOT offer a lift gate option, that would be an expense item

between the Freight Company and the customer/consignee. If you are unable or unwilling to receive your order via normal delivery according to ICC policies and truck line delivery schedules, then you will be solely responsible for all delivery charges related to attempted delivery and return freight charges.
