This is an
"Improved Eagle"
straight razor with
an etched 11/16
inch
(.64" - .68")
wide
blade and black celluloid
scales.
The blade is etched, "The Improved Eagle Razor," along with an image of an eagle with outstretched wings. The tang is unmarked.
The blade
shows minor evidence of hone wear. There are no nicks in the cutting edge and it's free of any cracks. The blade has a 2 3/4 inch cutting edge and seems to be the original full length. The blade is mostly free of surface rust and pitting. There is a tiny nick in the shoulder at the right side of the blade (see pictures). The scales aren't cracked and they aren't warped
. The blade fits snugly between the scales. The razor comes in an unmarked box in good condition.
Insurance is required on all shipments and will be charged with a handling fee and included in the shipping quote. Handling fee reflects Ebay’s change in policy where they now charge the seller a 10% commission on the shipping costs. Overseas customs forms will be marked with the original price and insured at that value. No exceptions
