These Riger reproductions were in The Equitable Life Assurance Society ad campaign in the 1960s. Great for framing. Here is a little info on this 6'1" point guard that played for the Boston Celtics during their reign as NBA champs in the 50s. Cousy's career for the Celtics was from 1950-1963 as player and 1963-1969 as the coach. He also played & coached the Cincinnati Royals/Kansas City-Omaha Kings. He played for the Royals in the 1969-1970 season and also coached them until 1973. His career stats are 16,690 points scored, 4,786 rebounds & 6955 assists. He was inducted into the Basketball HOF in Springfield in 2006. Some other honors that he had during for him are 1957 MVP, 13 time All-Star, 10 time 1st team All NBA, a member of the 25th & 50th NBA Anniversary Team and awarded the Medal of Freedom. Not too bad for a Holy Cross grad and NCAA champion.
