    Coach Don Shula Miami Dolphins 30" by 16.5" Football Lithograph
    Don Shula coached the Baltimore Colts from 1963 to 1969, leading them to a record of 73 wins, 26 losses and four ties. During this time frame the Colts were Conference Champions in 1964, in 1968 NFL Champions and in 1969 lost the Super Bowl to the New York Jets. Don then was named the Miami Dolphins coach from 1970 to 1995 and lead them to 274 wins, 147 losses and two ties. During this time frame, the Miami Dolphins were Divisional Champions 13 times. Coach Shula won five AFC Championships and won the Super Bowl two times in 1973 and 1974 and lost in 1972, 1983 and 1985. In 1972, the Miami Dolphins were the only team in the history of the NFL to have an undefeated season, going 17-0. After the two Super Bowl wins in the 1970's, Coach Shula was named "Coach of the Decade".  Don Shula was named NFL Coach of the Year a record five years in 1964, 1968, 1970, 1971 and 1972.
