Jimps - none but the tang is sheathed in plastic on both sides

Additional Notes - This 6000 FAVORIT straight razor was made and registered by one of
Japan
's most famous razor craftsmen, “The Master of Razors” Fukutaro Tanifuji.
Although several decades old, this razor is still in excellent condition.  The tang and monkey tail are sheathed in the same black as the scales.  There are some signs of use, but the grind pattern is consistent and visible throughout the blade.  The bevel and the spine show some hone wear, but the wear is even and the bevel is clean and undamaged.  The blade is tight in its scales and closes perfectly.  When tested, this Tanifuji gave me an exquisite shave.*
Please keep in mind that this razor is a used vintage item; accordingly, please make allowances for any cosmetic points that I may have missed in the written description above.  The accompanying pictures are of the actual item up for auction and may better represent the razor than the above description, please refer to all of them and judge the condition for yourself.  If you have any doubts about this item, please ask me about it before the auction ends, or refrain from bidding.
*Although this razor has been sharpened to my liking, because everyone's whiskers are different, no guarantee is implied as to its "shave readiness".  Please be prepared to have this razor sharpened if necessary.
