1997 Fountain 27 Fever step hull. 502 Mag MPI Bravo One with Latham hydraulic steering Kiekhaefer trim tabs, Gaffrig gauges and controls, Corsa Captains call exhaust, Electric bolster seats, Electric engine hatch, Dual batteries with switch, Sony stereo, AlumMetalfab anodized swim platform with telescoping ladder, Electronic compass, Depth gauge, Mechanical trim indicators and a custom Roadrunner tandem trailer. All gauges and all equipment on the boat works as it should. Nothing needs to be addressed. The outside clear coat still shines very nice . This boat was used in lakes never in the ocean. Always stored on a lift and or trailer. Boat weighs 5150 pounds trailer is another 1200 pounds can easily be pulled by a half ton truck or SUV so A 1500 or larger. 442 total hours on the boat. I have a few friends of mine that are boat mechanics and have been for over 25 years and they’ve all stated the same thing or similar that most people don’t understand you can put over 2500 hours on most boats if you take good care of them before you have to do any major work as in a overhaul etc. etc… just a little sidenote; most hours that are put on a boat are under 1500 idling hours that means you’re barely cruising along or sitting still and idling. Very few people go running the boat all day long across the river or the bay. So actual runtime of an engine over 35 mph is probably 25% of the total hours on most boats. (BOATS located in ARIZONA)
I have video of the boat running on the lake not more than a week ago on request.( Boats located in Cave Creek ARIZONA.) Comes with a Bluetooth stereo and surroundsound system also forward birth area is comfortable enough for sleeping over night on the water has a huge queen size bed in the forward birth and enough sitting room for a couple two or three people to get out of the sun. very comfortable boat.
previous owner of the boat owned it for over 3 years and I have receipts of what was done to the boat over the past 3yrs mostly preventive maintenance stuff. this was his personal boat and he is a boat mechanic by trade. All the seasonals are up-to-date and it’s ready for the upcoming season.
I have a free and clear title on the boat and trailer in hand. This boat cruises nicely if you know anything about FOUNTIAN BOATS their hulls are fantastic for just cruising and crushing the waves , one of the top of the line performers . You really have to see this boat in person to truly appreciate it. Boats top speed is rite around 70+MPH. The boat was completely gone through and over by its previous owner and he kept it in great mechanical condition .
Boat does have a few blemishes but they are only superficial couple nicks here and there on the outside and one little spot on the inside a small hole in the arm bolster that’s been patched up , it’s just years of boating the interior is in good condition outside of the little blemish I mention. The number one thing is that this boat is in great mechanical condition. And that it needs absolutely nothing to put in the water and go have fun for the summer. Comes with main deck snap on cover.
This is the perfect size boat will sit 6-8 people comfortably w/room in the forward birth area and also on the main deck area. Has a custom swim deck as well for your seating enjoyment. Boat also comes with a full main deck snap on cover . They’ll be some other things that will go with the boat as well from lifevest to anchors also bumpers . you’re getting one hell of a set up for this price .
