  • Condition: Excellent vintage condition; clasp works like new; no chips or cracks. Appears the rollover "C" clasp was moved from original placement. Positive test for Bakelite with Simichrome polish. (See photo #9)

    Description

    This gorgeous vintage Bakelite Brooch was carved from solid yellow colored Bakelite.
    The leaf inspired carvings are deep, amazingly detailed and beautifully executed!
    The brooch has its original roll over "C" clasp that is in perfect working order and stays closed when worn. Note: It a
    ppears the rollover "C" clasp may have been moved from its original placement to its current spot. There is a tiny drilled hole adjacent to the clasp that looks like it may have been where the rollover clasp was placed. (See photo #2)
    The brooch measures 4" x 1 1/8" at its widest point. The brooch weighs 14 grams.
