In 2000, the United States Postal Service (USPS) issued this super-size (5" by 7") postcard picturing an actual replica of the 33 cent postage stamp issued earlier by the USPS. Each card depicts a selection to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team.
The front of each card depicts the player as he appears on the 33 cent postage stamp bearing his image. The reverse side features a standard postcard back with room for a message and the addressee's information. A brief biography, logos of the USPS and MLB's All-Century Team plus copyright language is also included.
Collecting Tip:
Cards of this size fit perfectly in standard 2-pocket collector sheets designed for 5X7-inch photos and cards.
