map shows the locations of over fifty places of historic interest in Lakeville, Massachusetts. Prepared for the Lakeville Civic Association by Roger M. Allen and assisted by Gladys Vigers in 1958, this new, reprinted map shows the location of old homes, businesses, Indian places, churches, schools, stores, factories, and other places of interest to genealogists and historians. It measures 17 ¼ inches wide by 22 inches high.
Lakeville was split off from Middleboro in 1853.  It had been the southwestern portion of Middleboro.
