LEATHER OUTFIT OWNED AND WORN BY WARRANT GUITARIST ERIK TURNER IN THE BAND'S 1990 VIDEO "CHERRY PIE". TURNER ALSO WORE THIS OUTFIT EXTENSIVELY ON THE BAND'S "CHERRY PIE" TOUR WHILE TOURING WITH MOTLEY CRUE AND POISON. THIS OUTFIT CAN BE SEEN IN THE CHERRY PIE VIDEO. THE OUTFIT WAS OBTAINED DIRECTLY FROM TURNER VIA THE WORLD'S MOST PROMINENT AUCTION HOUSE, JULIEN'S. ALUMINUM PLAQUE ALSO INCLUDED.
This is a custom leather outfit made especially for guitarist Erik Turner of Warrant. The 2 piece outfit consists of leather and spandex. The jacket is all leather. The leather portions of the jacket are in very good shape. There are some rips in parts of the jacket. There are hand painted images on the jacket as well as studs and rhinestones. The pants are made of spandex with some leather portions. The spandex portions of the pants have deteriorated over time and become a bit sticky. The pants have WAD SQUAD & TUNG spelled out with studs or rhinestones. It is not in pristine condition, obviously. Since I have owned the outfit I have kept it on a special hanger in a climate controlled low humidity area. That has helped preserve it. This would not be advisable to wear. But I would recommend framing or displaying it. The back of the jacket is ultra cool with the Cherry Pie reference and studded leather. No size or labels present. It is a small to medium size.
