LEATHER OUTFIT OWNED AND WORN BY WARRANT GUITARIST ERIK TURNER IN THE BAND'S 1989 VIDEO "DOWN BOYS". TURNER ALSO WORE THIS OUTFIT EXTENSIVELY ON THE BAND'S "DIRTY ROTTEN FILTHY STINKING RICH TOUR". THIS OUTFIT CAN BE SEEN IN THE DOWN BOYS VIDEO. THE OUTFIT WAS OBTAINED DIRECTLY FROM TURNER VIA THE WORLD'S MOST PROMINENT AUCTION HOUSE, JULIEN'S. ALUMINUM PLAQUE ALSO INCLUDED.
This is a custom leather outfit made especially for guitarist Erik Turner of Warrant. The 2 piece outfit consists of leather, vinyl, and spandex. The leather portions of the jacket and pants are in good shape. The vinyl portions of the pants are cracking. The spandex portions of the pants have deteriorated over time and become a bit sticky. It is not in pristine condition, obviously. Since I have owned the outfit I have kept it on a special hanger in a climate controlled low humidity area. That has helped preserve it. This would not be advisable to wear. But I would recommend framing or displaying it. The back of the jacket is ultra cool with the Down Boys reference and studded leather. No size or labels present. It is a small to medium size. Two Harley-Davidson and Tasmanian Devil pins are on the lapel.
You will get the 2 piece outfit & the aluminum plaque. I can provide a redacted invoice from Julien's auction if desired.
