12 small brass cup washers for straight razor restorations. If you are trying to replicate the look of factory locking washers used on vintage razors, (and modern razors for that matter), then this product, new to the restoration market, is what you are looking for. These are small, rounded shoulder cup washers that are as close to factory originals as you will find. These are not the flat, or domed from flat, washers that most restorationists use today. These replicas are stamped, cup washers made from brass sheet metal, and are countersunk to provide additional strength just like the original cutlers used. Cup washers have dual walls for extra strength and will not flatten, or break down, during the peening process. The washers measure 3.7mm (.14") in diameter and 1.0mm thick/height. (Note: Try sanding the bottom down for an even lower mounting profile if you prefer.) You will also receive 12 small steel under washers that provide additional support for locking the pivot and wedge securely. The washer hole fits a 1/16 inch brass round rod stock. A six inch brass rod is provided with a 12 pack. Flat and domed washers or jewelry beads just don’t look the same as these factory replicas, and you won’t find these anywhere else.
