Special Note -  Straight from my personal rotation, this King Pelican is a beautiful example of Japanese craftsmanship.  Not your everyday razor, this Nichiri is a rare straight razor that is a careful balance of luxury and taste.  The scales are a tinted brown with striped gold filaments.  The space is a striking red.  The tang is sheathed on both sides with faux aged ivory.  The middle of the front scale has a blemish, but it is hard to notice and does not affect the quality of the shave.  Other than that the scales are in excellent shape.  The blade is tight in its scales and closes centered.  The blade does have surface blemishes but is overall sound. The bevel and spine are clean and undamaged.  Although used, this King Pelican has given me many exquisite shaves and still has many years of life left in it.  A beauty to keep for a lifetime.
Please keep in mind that this razor is a used vintage item; accordingly, please make allowances for any cosmetic points that I may have missed in the written description above.  The accompanying pictures may better represent the razor than the above description, please refer to all of them and judge the condition for yourself.  If you have any doubts about this item, please ask me about it before the auction ends, or refrain from bidding.
