Restored & Shave Ready HONOR Straight Razor GENCO CO. (W.R. CASE) Bradford, PA.

Description

Restoration includes removal of any corrosion, tightening/
replacement
of pins as needed, complete cleaning of scales inside and out and a careful honing/stropping.
The blade was cleaned to remove any active corrosion, honed, stropped and then protected with a light oil.
After cleaning, it was shave-tested and then disinfected with Barbicide and protected by a very light oil.  It will arrive ready to go to work!  It is a 5/8 hollow grind blade with some hone wear but isn't pitted.  It is marked "HONOR" and "THE GENCO CO., MADE IN USA, BRADFORD PA."  W.R. Case acquired the GENCO name from Geneva Cutlery in their merger and it was used on razors produced in The Case factory in Bradford, PA. The scales are yellow Catalin in perfect condition.  The "HONOR" logo is incised in the front scale.  This is one of the best-shaving razors I own.  You will love shaving with this one, guaranteed!

I try to use recycled packing material when available but all razors are always shipped in new cardboard mailing boxes, no padded envelopes.
