Simmons Hardware Antique Straight Razor — Art Nouveau Nude Woman, St. Louis, MO

Offered for your consideration is a Simmons Hardware Antique Straight Razor featuring an Art Nouveau Nude Woman. This piece was manufactured in St. Louis, MO in the late 1800s or early 1900s. The celluloid body of the razor remains in excellent condition with no obvious cracks — some of the original paint is still intact. The blade will need to be honed and sharpened for use. It has a few areas that need to be smoothed out and sharpened— very minor spots but still worth noting. The blade is approximately 3” across on its cutting edge by 1/2” in width. The whole razor body including the end of the handle is just over 6”. Minor rust/oxidation in the metal blade handle.
