This lovely vintage Bakelite brooch was made from clear gold (prystal) colored Bakelite. The brooch has an elliptical shape and has been carved with deep contoured slash carving to create a sleek modern design.
The brooch is 3 1/4" long and 1" wide at its widest point.
The brooch's pin is original to the piece and has a roll over "c" clasp that is in great working order and stays closed when worn.
The brooch weighs 12 grams. No chips or cracks were noted and the brooch tested positive for Bakelite with Simichrome polish. (See photo #10).
