Vintage Bakelite Figural Brooch! Marbled Green/Cream; Awesome Brass Decorations!

Description

This gorgeous vintage Bakelite figural brooch was carved from a marbled mixture of emerald green and yellow colored Bakelite. The inspiration for the brooch was a lovely Asian woman who has been adorned with a brass headdress, necklace and earrings.
The brooch measures 2 3/8 x 1 1/2" and weighs 14 grams.
The carvings are amazingly detailed and beautifully executed! Really fabulous carving work by the artist who created this lovely vintage brooch!!
The brooch has its original roll over "C" clasp that is in perfect working order and stays closed when worn. All of the other brass decorations are original and still held in place by the original pins.
The brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were seen.
