VINTAGE BARBIE MIDGE AMERICAN GIRL DOLL BENDABLE LEGS ORIGINAL BOX - ASH BLONDE

Description

Original Midge doll by Mattel titled Barbie's Best Friend. Stock no. 1080 with Lifelike Bendable Legs. Ash Blonde hair with bathing suit. The box  pretty nice and does have the stand as advertised.
The original box is in good shape with some wear on the corners. Overall pretty nice for the age. The doll itself is gorgeous and in my estimation one of the best Ive seen. She has 1958 on her butt cheeks. 1958 Mattel, Inc  US Patented in US Patent Pend. on the right side and on the left side cheek butt is the number 2 which indicates a very early edition. The bathing suit has the Mattel tag. The original Genuine Mattel tag is there as well. Her hair is all there , eyes perfect blue, and fingernails and toe nails pink as can be. Pretty complete. This doll was hardly played with and has been in our family for over 60 yrs. and we purchased the doll and are the original owners. This is a must buy for  anyone who collects Barbie dolls.
