Vintage Blue Moon Bakelite Dangle Brooch! Bias Cut Oval Shape; Flower Decoration

Description

This vintage Bakelite dangle brooch was carved from three pieces of oval shaped blue moon colored Bakelite; a main piece that measures 2 1/2" by 7/8" and two smaller pieces that measure 1 1/2" by 7/8".
Each of the three pieces are an oval shape, and are made from a lovely blue green color of Bakelite. They have been cut at a slant or bias and each has been decorated with applied brass flowers.
The two smaller pieces are attached to the main piece by a gold-tone link chain.
The brooch has its original rollover "c" clasp that is in perfect working order and stays closed when worn.
The brooch pieces are approximately 1/4" thick and brooch weighs 23 grams.
The brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were seen.
