This is a very clean v
intage Dubl Duck
"Goldedge"
straight razor with pale yellow cracked-ice celluloid
scales with metal inlays and bolsters,
and
a 13/16" wide blade
(.83" - .84").
The razor's scales are inlaid, "Goldedge." The razor's
tang is marked, "
Dubl Duck,
Goldedge
," on one side and
, "
Pearlduck
, Dubl Duck, Solingen, Germany," along with the Dubl Duck trademark on the reverse. Most of the gold finish on the tang is still intact.
The blade
shows some evidence of hone wear.
T
here are no nicks in the cutting edge, and it's free of any cracks.
The blade has a 2 3/4 inch cutting edge and seems to be the original full length. The blade is mostly free of surface rust and pitting. The scales
aren't cracked and they
aren't warped. The blade fits loosely between the scales.
