I debated polishing the blade and sanding out the pitting and opted not to because I do not want anyone mistaking this for a restored or shave ready blade and then being unhappy. This is a rare Solingen vintage razor, probably 1940s (unsure but that is my best guess based on asking a lot of people) that has no cutting edge and needs a whole new edge / bevel
There is a white spot on the scales (scales are original) which is where the label (which IS included) was attached but fell off as I was photographing it. I decided against gluing it back on as I am not sure what the best glue would be and the paper label looks fragile (it is possible that it cannot be reattached - I do NOT know, but I include it as it's original).
I am not an expert in straight razors - just a fan. Also, I CAN recommend someone who IS an expert if your interest is in buying this to use and he MAY (or may not) be able to restore it and put it back into shave-use.
I am selling it as a collectible for DISPLAY purposes - please keep that in mind because again, NO RETURNS, sold AS IS
