Very nice restored
LEVERING RAZOR CO. - THE ARTIST
straight razor. Razor has been dis-assembled, cleaned, polished, honed and waxed and is shave ready. Blade is super clean and nice with some only a few spots on both sides of blade. See pics for more details. Light to moderate hone wear.
Blade width measures at over 5/8ths.
Razor length is 6 1/4th inches.
Blade grind is approximately a 3/4 hollow.
Jimps on bottom of shank.
Front side of shank is stamped - THE ARTIST - LEVERING RAZOR CO.  Back side of shank is stamped - HAMBURG GROUND - GERMANY.
Scales are faux ivory celluloid with "HAMBURG AMERICAN" logo. They have been cleaned, polished and waxed. Overall in very nice condition and minimal warping. Pins are tight and blade closes on center.
A fine capable shaver.  Blade has been honed and finished on a vintage Thuringian hone.
