Vintage SPENCER LENS Co Straight Razor - MICROSCOPE SECTION CUTTER - Damaged

We have several straight razors up for bid.
This one is a vintage Spencer Lens Co Straight Razor . A lens company ???
The box is labeled Microscopic Section Cutter so maybe this isn't a razor at all, but rather a scientific instrument
The front of the blade is stamped Spencer Lens Co. Buffalo NY.
The back side is stamped Made in Germany.
I have not tried to do anything to it. Patina is important in some things.
The handle is some kind of plastic.
About 6 inches long(closed).
The box is in good condition.
I took the photos after I had made up the listing, and I broke both sides of the handle. ARRRRRR!
But maybe someone can use it for parts.
