Palenske was a contract artist for Brown & Bigelow Publishing House in St. Paul Minnesota.
This piece was done sometime in the 1940's in my pinion.
It is titled  "
The Immortal Babe" and underneath that it says Idol of Millions.
The tipped on the back legend proclaims that this is the only etching ever made of Babe Ruth,.
Great rendition of the Bronx Bomber.  On fine textured paper with an embossed border edge.
Dimensions are 16" by 12".  Etching is in exceptionally nice condition,  with a minor 1/4" of the top edge toned a little darker than the rest, it will never show when framed.
I have lived in St. Paul all my life and handled old sports and paper goods for some 30 years, first time I have ever seen this piece in this large format size.
