I have been an avid collector for over 50 years.  Now that I am pushing 70, I am being encouraged to sell off my collections so my son won't be overwhelmed with all my stuff.  I am in the process of moving my home office to another room in the house and listing a lot of small items that were in a massive display case that I had to move.
This is a vintage
, Waterville Cutlery Straight Razor, Waterville, Connecticut, in the original box.  Listed on the box are the words "DASE  BROS, Little Valley, N.Y.  TESTED  XX".  Etched on the blade is "The Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor manufactured by Waterville Cutlery Co. established 1843.    Both the razor and the razor case are in very good shape for the age. The razor is shave ready and very sharp.  Please examine the photos carefully and I think you will agree that this is one of the nicest collectible Waterville Cutlery razors available.
