VTG Golden Dispatch XXMark "Cut-Throat" Near Mint Straight Razor w Box Germany
Wonderful ca. 1920s collector or user item. Vtg Straight Razor in Near Mint condition. Does not appear to have been used. Case marked P.L. Schmidt Elberfeld, Germany with "XX Mark". The cutting edge on this razor has not been stropped. Rivets are tight and firm, as new condition. No residal accumulations of anything in mechanism.
Razor appears unused with only a few very fine "burrs" at the cutting edge of an almost perfect, unscratched blade with applied name of "GOLDEN DISPATCH", XX Mark. Very fine temper and very thin ground "cut-throat" blade. Just beautiful. Some very minor discoloration of surface metal in just a few tiny spots. No Polish has been used as polish is sometimes known to possibly remove the "gold" areas.
Case is near mint with only very slight corner bumps/wear. Case measures
6 1/8" x 1 1/4" x 1/2". Razor is 5 1/4" long when closed.  Handle is a black plastic(possibly bakelite) with "whitish" spacers.
