Mets & San Francisco Giants. His career was from 1942, 1946-1965. You will notice that he did not play in 1943-1945. During this time is was serving out country where he was awarded a purple heart for being wounded. He is in the HOF and was inducted in 1973. Some of his stats are a w-l record of 363-245, a 3.09 era and 2583 so's. He also hit 35 hrs during his career. AND, he was 17 time All-Star and the winner of the Cy Young award in 1957.
