I have been a serious collector of all kinds of costume jewelry and have been buying Lea Stein
jewelry since the 1990's when I traveled frequently to Paris.  Lea Stein is considered an innovative plastic jewelry designer of the 20th century.  She and her husband developed a process of layering sheets of cellulose acetate and laminating them often with fabric.  This can create wonderful colors and patterns.
